CoFoundrys is not a confidential disclosure channel, legal repository, data room, or substitute for a non-disclosure agreement.
CoFoundrys may examine submitted supporting materials to assess the completeness, relevance, consistency, currency, and reliability of information provided in founder applications.
This review may include comparing submitted statements with supporting documentation, identifying information gaps, requesting clarification or updated evidence, and preparing internal summaries, assessments, or readiness indicators.
CoFoundrys may distinguish between information reported by an applicant, documentation supplied in support of that information, and findings independently verified where such verification has actually occurred.
Submission or review of supporting evidence does not constitute independent certification, endorsement, verification of all claims, or a guarantee of startup viability or commercial success.
Applicants retain ownership of their original materials and intellectual property. By submitting materials, applicants authorize CoFoundrys and its authorized service providers to access, store, reproduce as reasonably necessary for technical processing, and analyze those materials for the application review and related purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
This authorization does not transfer ownership of submitted intellectual property to CoFoundrys.
6. How We Use Information
We may use personal information for the following purposes:
- to operate and maintain the website;
- to receive and review submissions;
- to manage waitlists and expressions of interest;
- to communicate with users;
- to evaluate founder, project, supporter, or investor interest;
- to conduct internal discovery and validation-related review;
- to organize submitted information;
- to improve website content, structure, and user experience;
- to develop future CoFoundrys platform workflows;
- to prevent fraud, misuse, spam, abuse, or security issues;
- to comply with legal obligations;
- to enforce the Terms of Use;
- to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of CoFoundrys, users, and third parties.
7. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable data protection laws require a legal basis for processing personal information, we may rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
Consent: when you voluntarily submit a form, join a waitlist, contact us, or agree to receive communications.
Legitimate interests: when we process information to operate the website, review submissions, evaluate ecosystem participation, improve the platform, prevent abuse, or communicate with users in a relevant and reasonable manner.
Pre-contractual steps: when you submit information for potential participation, review, validation, collaboration, or future platform-related engagement.
Legal obligations: when processing is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal requests, or enforcement requirements.
You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, but this will not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
8. AI-Assisted and Automated Processing
CoFoundrys may use internal tools, automation, or AI-assisted systems to help structure, summarize, classify, review, or organize submitted information.
Such tools may be used to support internal review, reduce manual workload, improve consistency, identify relevant submission categories, and develop validation-related workflows.
AI-assisted processing does not guarantee acceptance, validation, approval, recommendation, funding, investment, partnership, or any specific outcome.
CoFoundrys may review AI-assisted outputs manually where appropriate. Users should not submit information that they are not comfortable being processed through internal or third-party technology tools used for website, form, automation, analytics, communication, or review purposes.
Where AI-assisted or automated tools are used to review supporting documentation, relevant submitted information may be processed by authorized third-party technology providers for purposes such as summarization, classification, evidence comparison, and preparation of internal review materials.
CoFoundrys will seek to limit the information shared with such tools to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and to apply appropriate safeguards based on the sensitivity of the information and the capabilities of the service provider.
Applicants should not assume that submitted documents will remain exclusively within CoFoundrys-operated systems.
9. Third-Party Service Providers
CoFoundrys may use third-party service providers to operate the website, collect form submissions, store data, manage communications, analyze website performance, automate workflows, or support internal review.
These providers may include, depending on implementation:
- website hosting providers;
- website design and publishing platforms;
- form providers;
- email and communication tools;
- analytics providers;
- automation tools;
- cloud storage providers;
- AI or data-processing tools;
- security and anti-spam tools.
These service providers may process personal information on behalf of CoFoundrys or according to their own terms and privacy policies.
CoFoundrys does not control all third-party services and is not responsible for their independent privacy practices. Users should review the privacy policies of relevant third-party services where applicable.
10. Webflow, Tally, and Related Tools
The CoFoundrys website may be built, hosted, published, or managed using Webflow or similar website infrastructure providers.
CoFoundrys may also use Tally or similar form providers to collect waitlist submissions, founder applications, supporter interest, investor interest, and other information submitted through forms.
Depending on how forms are configured, submitted information may be stored by the form provider, transmitted to CoFoundrys, sent by email, routed through integrations, or processed through connected tools.
CoFoundrys will seek to use these tools in a reasonable and responsible manner, but users should understand that submitted information may be processed by third-party service providers that support website and form functionality.
Application Intake and Data Management
During the current pre-launch stage, CoFoundrys uses or intends to use Tally for collecting form submissions and supporting documents, and Airtable as its primary internal application-management database.
Depending on the technical configuration, submitted information and supporting files may be stored by Tally, transferred to Airtable, or processed through authorized integrations and service providers. Airtable may be used to organize applications, track review status, maintain supporting evidence references, and manage application-related records.
Access to these records is restricted to authorized persons and service providers who require such access for legitimate application review, data management, security, or operational purposes.
As CoFoundrys develops, its data-management infrastructure may be migrated to dedicated platform systems, managed cloud environments, or other suitable storage and processing solutions. Any such transition will be subject to applicable data protection requirements, appropriate security measures, and updates to this Privacy Policy where necessary.
CoFoundrys does not represent that all submitted information is stored exclusively on infrastructure owned or directly operated by CoFoundrys.
11. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The website may use cookies, pixels, scripts, local storage, analytics tools, or similar technologies to support website functionality, improve user experience, understand traffic, measure engagement, and protect the website from abuse.
Cookies may be used for purposes such as:
- enabling website functionality;
- remembering preferences;
- analyzing website traffic;
- understanding which pages users visit;
- improving content and navigation;
- supporting security and anti-spam measures.
You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting cookies may affect how the website functions.
If CoFoundrys later uses analytics, advertising, retargeting, or advanced tracking tools, this Privacy Policy may be updated, and additional consent mechanisms may be implemented where required by law.
12. How We Share Information
CoFoundrys does not sell personal information.
We may share personal information only in limited circumstances, including:
- with service providers that help operate the website, forms, communications, analytics, automation, storage, or review processes;
- with internal team members, contractors, advisors, or collaborators who need access for legitimate CoFoundrys-related purposes;
- with third parties where you request or authorize such sharing;
- where necessary to comply with law, legal process, regulatory requests, or enforceable government demands;
- where necessary to protect rights, safety, security, users, or the integrity of the website;
- in connection with a future business transition, restructuring, legal entity formation, merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
CoFoundrys does not disclose non-public founder applications, supporting evidence, or internal project assessments to supporters, investors, or other external ecosystem participants solely because an application has been submitted. Any proposed disclosure will be subject to the authorization, applicable legal requirements, and information-sharing practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Founder applications, supporting documents, evidence submissions, and internal review materials are intended primarily for CoFoundrys' internal application assessment, validation-related review, and ecosystem-participation processes.
Submitting an application does not, by itself, authorize CoFoundrys to publicly publish supporting documents, disclose non-public project materials to supporters or investors, or distribute internal assessments to external ecosystem participants.
Where CoFoundrys proposes to share non-public founder or project information with supporters, strategic supporters, investors, partners, or other ecosystem participants, the scope and purpose of such disclosure will be communicated to the applicant, and appropriate authorization will be obtained before disclosure, unless another lawful basis applies.
Any authorization may distinguish between public project descriptions, selected validation indicators, summarized review findings, and access to original supporting documents.
CoFoundrys may prepare internal analytical summaries and assessments as part of its review activities. These internal materials are not automatically public and are not automatically available to applicants or external participants, except where disclosure is required by applicable law or otherwise expressly authorized.
CoFoundrys does not guarantee that recipients of information shared with an applicant's authorization will maintain confidentiality unless applicable confidentiality obligations have been established.
13. International Data Transfers
CoFoundrys may use service providers located in different countries. As a result, personal information may be processed or stored outside your country of residence.
Where required by applicable law, CoFoundrys will seek to rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, service provider commitments, or other legally recognized mechanisms.
By submitting information through the website, you understand that your information may be processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country.
14. Data Retention
CoFoundrys will retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to review submissions, communicate with users, manage waitlists, evaluate ecosystem participation, improve the platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce the Terms of Use.
Because CoFoundrys is currently in a pre-launch stage, retention periods may depend on the type of submission, ongoing communication, project relevance, operational needs, and legal requirements.
Users may request deletion of their personal information, subject to legal, operational, security, dispute-resolution, or recordkeeping requirements.
Where materials are no longer required for these purposes, CoFoundrys will seek to delete, anonymize, or otherwise appropriately dispose of them in accordance with applicable law and relevant service-provider capabilities.
Applicants may request deletion of personal information and supporting materials by contacting CoFoundrys. Requests will be evaluated in accordance with applicable legal requirements and any legitimate retention obligations.
Deletion from CoFoundrys-controlled records may not immediately remove independently stored copies, backups, or materials maintained by third parties under their own lawful retention requirements.
Retention Period for Founder Applications and Supporting Materials
Founder applications, supporting documents, and associated review records are generally retained for the duration of the active application or validation-related review process and for up to six (6) months after the application is closed or the last substantive interaction, as applicable.
Where an application is withdrawn or declined, the applicable retention period generally begins when the application is closed.
Certain information may be retained for a longer period where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, establish or defend legal claims, or address documented operational requirements.
When the applicable retention period expires, CoFoundrys will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize the relevant information, subject to applicable legal requirements and the retention and backup practices of its service providers.
15. Data Security
CoFoundrys seeks to use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no website, form, email system, hosting provider, cloud service, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be fully secure.
You submit information at your own risk and should avoid submitting highly sensitive, confidential, trade-secret, regulated, or legally restricted information unless appropriate protections are in place.
Access to submitted supporting documentation and internal review records will be limited, where reasonably practicable, to persons and service providers with a legitimate need to access the information for authorized CoFoundrys-related purposes.
CoFoundrys will seek to use appropriate access controls and reasonable safeguards when storing, reviewing, transferring, or sharing submitted materials.
Applicants who provide links to externally hosted documents are responsible for configuring the sharing permissions of those resources. Applicants should avoid using unrestricted public links for materials containing personal, confidential, or commercially sensitive information.
CoFoundrys cannot guarantee the security or continued availability of externally hosted materials controlled by applicants or third-party providers.
Internal Access and Evidence Handling
During the current pre-launch stage, founder applications and supporting materials are intended for internal review and are not automatically accessible to supporters, strategic supporters, investors, or other external ecosystem participants.
CoFoundrys seeks to limit access to submitted information to the person responsible for operating the project and to authorized service providers where access is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Where supporting materials contain personal information about customers, research participants, employees, external researchers, consultants, or other third parties, CoFoundrys may request that unnecessary identifying information be removed or anonymized before further processing.
Before using third-party AI-assisted tools to analyze submitted materials, CoFoundrys will seek to minimize unnecessary personal information and assess the relevant provider's data-processing and confidentiality practices.
CoFoundrys may maintain internal records of access authorizations, information-sharing permissions, review activity, and data-retention decisions where reasonably necessary for accountability and operational purposes.
16. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- request access to personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of your information;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- request a copy of your information in a portable format;
- opt out of certain communications;
- lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, where applicable.
To exercise privacy rights, contact us using the contact details listed below.
We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request. We may also decline or limit a request where permitted by law, including where retention is necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legitimate operational reasons.
17. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Certain U.S. state privacy laws may provide additional rights to residents of those states, depending on whether such laws apply to CoFoundrys.
Where applicable, these rights may include the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, request correction, opt out of certain sharing or sales of personal information, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.
CoFoundrys does not sell personal information and does not currently use the website to process payments, transactions, donations, investments, or regulated financial activity.
If U.S. state privacy laws become applicable to CoFoundrys as the project develops, this Privacy Policy may be updated to provide additional disclosures, rights, and request mechanisms.
18. Children’s Privacy
The CoFoundrys website is not intended for children under the age of 18.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has submitted personal information to CoFoundrys, please contact us, and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information where required.
19. Marketing and Communications
If you submit your email address, join a waitlist, apply through a form, or contact CoFoundrys, we may send you relevant communications related to your submission, the website, platform updates, founder validation, ecosystem participation, or related opportunities.
You may request to stop receiving non-essential communications. However, CoFoundrys may still send administrative, transactional, legal, or security-related communications where appropriate.
20. Third-Party Links
The website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, tools, or resources.
CoFoundrys is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, terms, security, or accuracy of third-party websites or services.
You should review the privacy policies and terms of any third-party services you access.
21. Changes to This Privacy Policy
CoFoundrys may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
The “Last Updated” date above indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised.
If changes are material, CoFoundrys may provide additional notice where reasonable or required by law.
Your continued use of the website after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated policy.
22. Project Operator and Contact Information
